Thanos has spent close to twenty years working across data science, artificial intelligence, business analytics, finance and banking — including as Head of Business Analytics in the private banking arm of a large multinational bank, and as a Senior Data Scientist at EY.
Investolytix came out of that overlap. Having spent years building analytics for financial institutions and teaching others to do the same, one gap kept showing up: investors could measure what a company was worth and what its chart was doing, but had no reliable way to measure how the market actually felt about it. The tools for the third lens simply didn't exist. So he started building them.
Alongside Investolytix he is Academic Lead at Big Blue Data Academy, where he teaches data science, machine learning and AI. He has delivered over 2,500 hours of training to nearly 1,700 students, and also teaches at The American College of Greece. He holds degrees in business and economics, finance, banking, data science and artificial intelligence, and begins a PhD in Business Analytics and Data Science in 2026.
